Requirements and Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience working in an Emergency Room (ER) or similar acute care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Ability to perform under pressure with excellent critical thinking abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and standard medical protocols
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency patients in accordance with established protocols
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage based on medical urgency
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and document all aspects of patient care accurately
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Respond promptly to emergency situations with appropriate interventions
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of one year experience in an ER or comparable clinical environment preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
- Excellent clinical judgment and ability to multitask in a dynamic setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate ranging from $61.00 to $72.00
